The Workshops Rail Museum will host the 2007 Ipswich Model Railway Show on 27 and 28 of October.
Mr Andrew Moritz, Director of The Workshops Rail Museum said the Ipswich Model Railway Show is a fantastic way to introduce families to the wonders of rail and to highlight a hobby that has thousands of followers world-wide. 
| The Workshops Rail Museum will host the 2007 Ipswich Model Railway Show on 27 and 28 of October.
| “The event provides model railway enthusiasts with an opportunity to showcase their displays and share their expertise with hobbyists and newcomers alike,” Mr Moritz said. “As with all of the events in The Workshops Rail Museum program, the Ipswich Model Railway Show has developed a strong following and will build on the success of previous years.” Special additions to this year’s event include appearances by Bob the Builder and the opportunity to witness rail history when the Museum steams up the Garrett Steam Traction Engine. As part of the Ipswich Model Railway Show, The Workshops Rail Museum is also offering visitors a life-size rail adventure with a Steam Train journey on Sunday 28 October. The package includes a ride on the steam train from Roma Street Station in Brisbane to The Workshops Rail Museum, entry into the Museum and the Ipswich Model Railway Show and return transfers to Brisbane. Bookings for the journey are essential and charges apply. Visitors can also purchase an Annual Pass Membership when they visit the Ipswich Model Railway Show. Equivalent to only two visits, an Annual Pass Memberships allows unlimited entry into The Workshops Rail Museum for 12 months.
