There are many stories about the Conondale Community Hall. It has stood at the entrance to Conondale on the rise for longer than most of can remember.
For many years it was the focus of all community events. Not only was it the only hall in the community it was conveniently situated next door to Ron Watt’s house.
Many strange things have happened to people in that hall giving way to the thought by a few that the hall is haunted or populated by a family of devils.
If only the walls of this great old community hall could talk there would be a million stories, some sad, some funny but all about Conondale community and the great place Conondale is to live. Once again it will be the focus of attention on December 1st when the Conondale Race Club holds the annual Christmas Dance.
Whilst this dance is one of the MUST attend functions in the Conondale area the other important thing about it is that it helps fund the hall public liability insurance for the other 364 days of the year.
Never fear though.
This is a fun FAMILY night so slip along on December 1st at 7.30p. m. and join the “Conondale in crowd” for one of the social events of the year - The Race Club Christmas Dance.
Great music will be provided by the Sunshine Swing Band, with prizes, raffles, bar and supper. The kids will enjoy this special night as well.
