LAST Wednesday saw the launch of a very ambitious project. The team at Roger Loughnan Real Estate in Montville opened their latest art exhibition ‘Light Up The World.’ Funds raised at the opening will assist local teenager Anton Szilasi who has started his own Aid Project.
Wanting to volunteer for aid work, Anton was rejected by aid organisations as, at 16 he did not meet the minimum age requirement of 18. Undeterred, Anton launched his own aid project!

‘Anton’s Aid Project’ will provide solar power to the medical clinic and villagers of Kashijharia, India.
In opening the event, Roger Loughnan said, “We feel Anton is living testimony to the words of Mahatma Ghandi, ‘Be the change you want to see in the world.’
It is our honour to support him in his endeavour to light up the world.”
Incorporating the works of ‘Arts For Peacemakers’ participants, ‘Light Up The World’ supports local youth artists.
A local initiative, ‘Arts for Peacemakers’ is creating opportunities for young people to come together and use art forms to explore their ideas and visions of peace.
The exhibition will continue at Roger Loughnan Real Estate, Main Street Montville until January 15th.
All proceeds will be donated to Anton’s Aid Project.
If you are a local artist who would like to participate in future exhibitions, contact Anita Hanicek on 5478 5288 - or email anita@rogerloughnanrealestate. com.au.
