A magical journey of discovery awaits young
people these school holidays as Sunshine Coast Libraries gears up to
present its inaugural combined holiday program.
Magical Mayhem promises to intrigue,
entertain and mystify young people across the coast as it weaves its
web of magic from Monday 7 April to Friday 11 April at your local
library.
Featuring a host of exciting activities, from
puppetry, potions and possums, the holiday program offers a range of
engaging and stimulating activities for all ages. There’s even a
magical quiz.
Sunshine Coast Regional Council Community
Services Regional Director Lisbet Dean said the Sunshine Coast
Libraries, with nine branches and three mobile branches, offers
residents an impressive selection of items, boasting over half a
million items.
“As one of the most used public facilities
operated by Council, our libraries are a great place to discover all
the latest works of fact and fiction, as well as a range of music,
audio books, movies and other titles,” Ms Dean said.
“The new integrated catalogue means members can more easily access all the latest materials held at the libraries.”
Ms Dean said the Maroochy and Noosa catalogues
are already integrated into a single database, with Caloundra
information coming online in the next couple of months.
