You can’t keep a great band down even when it hasn’t played for 20 years.
The original members of the iconic Aboriginal rock/reggae outfit No Fixed Address are reuniting after two decades doing the equivalent of a music walkabout, and their first new temporary home will be the four-day The Dreaming Festival over the June long weekend.

Former Prime Minister John
Howard declared 2008 to be the Year of the Scout to mark Scouts
Australia’s Centenary. About 60,000 Australians currently participate
in Australian Scouting, while another two million have been part of the
nation’s largest youth development organisation over the past 100
years, he said.

At 3pm on Sunday 15 June at the
Lake Kawana Community Centre, Sportsmans Parade Bokarina, the Sunshine
Coast Choral Society will present a concert of two major works of the
contemporary English choral composer John Rutter. The performance,
conducted by Adrian King, will involve two choirs, with singers of all
ages, two professional soloists and a 20 piece instrumental ensemble.
